Yes, it really has.
My new rule is that days in which I don't look to see what jobs are available or apply for a new job, I am not allowed to complain about my job.
I talk about my job a lot less. And, honestly, this new gameplan is good not just for those that had to listen to me bitch about an unchanging workplace, it also makes me at least look every day at what options are out there. If any people I work with see that I have usajobs.gov open AT WORK and are miffed, they can self-evaluate as well.
