Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Yay for good news!

Continued good vibes to her, and I'm glad it's promising news.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Least-bad news is as good as can reasonably be hoped for. Yay!

Definitely least-bad news, that’s great, msbelle!! Fingers crossed it continues to go as easy as possible.

I got to go DANCING tonight!!! It was amazing and exhausting and my feet hurt and my shoulders were tired (apparently I’ve not had to hold up my arms for multiple minutes at a time, like you do when partner dancing, this pandemic??) plus got to see friends and even when I wasn’t dancing, just be super happy to watch other people dancing. Yay. It was a one-off event at the ballroom, vaccinated only, limited capacity. But so good. Even walking home in the pouring rain with friends who live in the neighborhood was so nice.

I do suspect I’ll have a headache in the morning though.

Phew! Early detection! I'll continue to send the ~ma to her and all of you for smooth sailing through the treatments.

Yay for dancing! I feel uplifted just reading about it.

Up early because the sun is bright. People are out on the lake fishing and water skiing already. My quiet time to read and relax before life throws chores my way.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I’m glad to hear it, msbelle.

I’m glad Matilda’s extraction went well.

Silly made my day stuff. I was out in the yard dead heading my rose bushes when the mailman came by. I asked him if he would like a rose for a loved one and the way his face lit up was so beautiful. He thanked me profusely, but seriously, his smile was more than enough thanks. I gave him one of my most fragrant yellow/pink ones.

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

Glad to hear the promising news, msbelle!

I scored tomatoes from the really good vendor at today's farmers market, as well as little cucumbers, big green onions, and honeysuckle cookies. Rather than eat any of that I'm off to have Indian for lunch, and then take my mom out to see A Quiet Place II in the theater (the first time she'll have been in many months).

Fantastic! Between your injury and the Pandemic you've been kept too far away from something you love so much.

Glad on the good news, msbelle.
