I, personally like the Oxford comma. However, at work the standard is no Oxford comma, which I go along with. It's ironic when I go through someone else's work and indicate that Oxford commas need to be deleted (does that make me a serial (comma) killer?).
I am really not up to doing the onerous thing at work today. I keep hoping the problem will go away on its own.

We chose to have Nova cremated, and have the ashes put in a box with a commemorative plaque. It arrived today. At some point we will look at the box and put it in a cabinet. Just not right now.
