I’m in the office this week and everything is gearing up for people returning to work, but with not much in place for guidelines.
My boss had me request for all employee COVID info on the intranet to be removed.
Admin leave which had been freely flowing for any COVID testing, exposure, or illness has basically been stopped. But no announcement about that to everyone.
Mask mandates are done, but they are not sharing how many employees have been vaccinated (and they have access to that data).
and fixed herself a plate of breakfast sausage and a giant pile of raisins. I'm not entirely sure who won that round...
Intriguing combination! I think the winner there is Bowel Movement.
I'm letting Matilda sleep in until 11:30 today. But I've gotten her to reluctantly commit to doing a morning run with her friend Iris on Friday.
I don't remember how old Aeryn is now, because they age way too fast, but I do remember the boys going through stages where they slept crazy amounts of time. I always thought it was nuts that HS started so early in the morning because almost all of them are zombies in the early morning.
Mom gave up the fight over breakfast pretty early.. as long as I ate something and checked before I ate leftovers from dinner (In case she was going to use them) she didn't care what I age.
I wouldn't eat cereal for breakfast but I would eat it as a snack . But I'd have a tuna sandwich for breakfast. I can't explain why tuna sandwich is more appealing appealing breakfast than cereal or eggs but it is.
Laura, she's 10 and has always needed a lot of sleep - she kept her afternoon nap almost until kindergarten. This year she's been getting worse and worse at getting up on time for school since there hasn't been a bus schedule to keep.
(By contrast, Dylan, who turns 14 next week, has never needed ANY sleep and regularly wakes up at 5:30am and he doesn't even mind.)
I guess today is the day I just send questions into the void.
I am getting some things done but I keep coming across things I need answers on annnnddddd people are not getting back to me, so I have this ever growing pile of work stuff on hold “waiting for answer”. This is what causes my anxiety to spike, too many things in limbo. I will start forgetting about things pretty soon. Time to make a list.
Ha, sounds familiar. Bobby would fight sleep with all his might and refused naps while his brother never had to be told to go to bed.
I'm sorry to hear about Nova, Sheryl. It just hurts.
Mom~ma, Matt.
Job~ma for Mac.
Laura, good luck with your PCP and surgery~ma for your DH.
Andi! Congratulations on your Researcher badge! You are the kind of DSP everyone should have caring for them. Hooray!
Timelies all!
Thank you for the words of sympathy. "It's always sudden" works for pets as well as people.
