I spent a great deal of yesterday napping, which is an ideal use of a holiday. Got together with Mom for pizza and salad last night and changed some light bulbs in her kitchen.

DH is scheduled to have hand surgery on the 15th. Woo! Doc says he will be able to use it while healing for eating and writing, but nothing more strenuous. I've wanted him to do this for a long time, so pleased to finally have it scheduled.

Next week starts my long slog of dental work. Fillings on Thursday (round 1) and oral surgery consultation on Tuesday (wisdom teeth).
Finishing up errands today, and then hitting the home office at 2p!
I also have to clean today and tomorrow. We're going out of town on Thursday night, so my friend is going to check on the cats over the weekend. Or possibly just stay. Anyway, house needs cleaning.

I took the day off because I had an appointment at 11:30 which is right in the middle of my work day, so going before or after wouldn't be helpful. Gary had taken today off as well, to recover from the con, and Mr. S's school was virtual today.
