That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

What is even happening?

Oh Sheryl, tangled yarn is a pain in the ass. Do you know how to roll it from a skein into a ball? It takes a little time, but it's something you can do while you're watching TV or whatever. I wish I could show you.

I checked out YouTube videos to show you, but a lot of them made it look more complicated than it is. This was the most straightforward one. [link]

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Cindy, I ended up cutting the skeins in a few places, as there were knots I couldn't undo.

Y’all it’s almost 1am and I’m awake. That hasn’t happened In forever! Friends called at like 745 to invite me over and I got there at 830 and they’d had a late lunch so we’re grilling and we ate dinner (my second dinner!) at like 930 and suddenly it was midnight! And I still had to drive home! I wonder how I’m going to feel tomorrow…

Sounds fun, Meara.

I woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare involving home invasion and the movie Slither.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sheryl, I'm sorry. ltc has been difficult this weekend to. I swear she tantrums more now than she ever did at 2.

Timelies all!

It's been another annoying day with Mr. S. Gary took him over to Nana's house for a playdate, so I've had a little reprieve.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's a windy day here -- enough that it blew the (unlatched) back porch door open. Which meant that I caught Mr. Whitey Bulgercat creeping out to explore the backyard that he so rightfully wants to dominate.

He's not the brightest cat, so he was quickly corralled. But now that he's been reminded that there's A Door that could let him out, he's camping out by it. Not much of a brain, but once a damn idea gets into it....

The good: I made strawberry rhubarb pie.

The bad: I ate too much of it and felt sick.

I need food-sharing to come back.

Also how did the dog race around for HOURS last night, until waaaaay pst our usual bedtime, and yet not sleep any more than usual today??

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Whew, vivid dream last night was like a movie about turncoats in a Victorian/Edwardian school for assassins who use wuxia style martial arts, with Eva Green and Dan Stevens as the principals and Tom Hardy as a British soldier helping them. Now I'm disappointed that the movie doesn't actually exist.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Now I'm disappointed that the movie doesn't actually exist.

Me too!
