As of today, I am considered fully vaccinated! I will be celebrating this momentous event by getting a haircut from my erstwhile stylist, Curtis, who just opened a new salon in Hayes Valley this week. The last haircut I got from him (or anyone) was in August 2019 so right now I'm deciding if I'm going to get it cut for Locks of Love or similar or not.
'Smile Time'
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Woo megan walker!
Yay flea!
This was a first round zoom interview, and I liked the person who interviewed me and what she had to say about the organization. There will be a second round of interviews with the actual supervisor. So we’ll see. It’s with a grant-making nonprofit, as a program manager.
Ooh, cool!

I do periodically think "Undo it! Undo it!" when things go awry!

This is my plan. June 12 will be my 1st haircut since January 2020. It's nearly to my waist again. Looking forward to getting it back to my shoulders. You & Curtis have fun!
Yay, flea!
Just finished filing my taxes (finally!). I'm so cross. My "free" filing ended up costing me $115. The biggest upcharge was because I held a little stock in my former employer and the stock split in early 2020. Because of the way they split it, I ended up with a half-share in one of the companies, which isn't allowed, so they sold it. I got a check for $23.52. Between state & fed, I just paid nearly $90 for them to submit that info. And of course, part of why I'm cross is at myself for waiting to the last minute. If I had started a month ago, I would have found a cheaper option, but on this short notice I figured I better just bite the bullet and pony up the $$.

That's my plan for this weekend. It never takes very long to do our taxes, but the trick is getting me to sit down and start it. That deadline will do it, though.
The year I sold off my whopping big 12 shares of Disney stock, I paid H&R Block to do my taxes and ate up most of the capital gains. But it was worth it for the peace of mind (and having someone else I could point at if anything were discovered to have been done wrong).
I also had tater tots for Dinner, Part 2 (part 1 was a big salad, so I knew I'd want something more carby a little later), and they were so freaking good. Tots for everyone! Unless you don't like tater tots, in which case: give me your share!
I had microwave popcorn for dinner which was delicious for a minute but then made my lips and tongue feel like they were coated in grease so I stopped. Blech. Probably best to not eat the whole thing anyway but boo.
I’m still thrown by how late it’s staying light now. I think partly because of pandemic time warp and my brain is convinced it’s still around March? But I was just thinking “maybe I’ll go to bed super early tonight” and then realized it’s already 830, so while after 9pm is earlier than many, it’s not crazy early.

Whoa! And your hair is very abundant!
