I think a stand hammock with a nice, angled Beach umbrella could be deluxe.
Put a little bluetooth speaker out there to listen to baseball games, podcasts or music. A little table for a glass of iced tea, a fat book. Life's good.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Did get my second dose of vaccine AND got it recorded on my card (that was questionable for a while) but did not get a free donut. I went to Krispy Kreme and sat in the parking lot and thought "I do not actually want a donut" and left. Some other time, I suppose.
Starbucks lured me into trying a Strawberry Funnel Cake Whatever on the way to get my shot and it was way too much sugar, which is why a donut did not appeal. Sothere's that.
Go Tep with having people do stuff to make your home nicer for you to be in!
yay for vaccination, yay for hammocks and yay for reasonably priced hoarder people (I don't think it counts as hoarding unless you have a stack fall over on you and/or something rotting underneath the stuff) ... so, it could be worse!

I have a bluetooth speaker in my Amazon cart right now, which is the exact same as the bluetooth speaker we already own, because Tim has stolen that one and taken it to work ("It's not stealing something if we jointly own it," he wants to clarify, so I will amend the record to say: Tim has misappropriated it). For a $23 speaker, it's really really good: [link] .
because then I can put the hammock wherever I want to in the yard. I'll be drunk on hammock power!

You guys get me. ::sniff::
I'm copy pasting this into a text for DH. Muwah, ha, ha.
I prefer hanging my hammock from trees, and that is my primary mode. However, with my stand I can move the hammock into the sun or shade or even my living room! The stand would trump the trees except I like to rock my hammock while I'm in it and the stand tends to squeak.
I have 2 trees in my backyard, but at opposite ends. Also, I think the cedar is not arranged properly to have stuff tied to it, so I'm thinking of getting a stand hammock as well (those of you thinking this way, there was one on Groupon Goods very recently).

This is my thinking. Well, not the living room so much, but other than that, totally my thinking.
Very positive news, askye!
Happy belated, Todd! May the birthday festivities continue due to my lateness! (You're welcome!)
Back in the day when I lived in an apartment that had no yard access and also did not have a couch I set up a little stand hammock in my living room and it was more than a little great. I am pro hammock in any configuration, really.
I have neither a yard nor space for a stand hammock, but I have been tempted by a basket chair that swings from a stand.

Get the kind that looks like a Viking ship! Then you can really feel your power.
