Well, I will be delighted for you!
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Woo hoo, Atropa!
Chatting with an NP friend around the fire pit last night and I mentioned your daughter's nose dive, Cindy -- she said she'd had 10 patients this week who hit the floor and said it's not unusual at all. She laughed because when they started giving the HPV vax however many years ago, there was this same "is there something wrong with the vax?" reaction from people, but that's just what we humans do after being stuck with a needle, sometimes.
If she'd keeled right after the shot, Sparky, I wouldn't have been as concerned (since she fainted during a blood draw once). It was that it was 10 or 11 hours later that seemed weird, but she's perfectly fine, and her more normal shot #2 side effects passed in a day or two.
Casper had a bad night with post-Pfizer dose 2 fever. My favorite part was when she said, teary, "I feel like a little bitch" (for being sick, apparently.)
I had side effects from the Pfizer vaccine, too. About 48 hours of being exhausted and achey and shivers after both doses. It also affected my cycle. (Still very happy and grateful for being able to have the vaccine, of course).
Timelies all!
Quiet on the board today...
I'm waiting for someone to pick up Jim's old desk. Wound up cleaning and reorganizing a file box trying to find the assembly instructions - didn't find them, but there's a big stack of old paper waiting to be shredded.

Hugs to everyone who needs them.
I got called for jury duty 6 times when I was pregnant with or breastfeeding Alexandra, so I got excused every time (once was for the week she was due, and I was tempted to send a picture of my gigantic belly). Naturally, I haven't been called since.
Lucky Charms:
Also, last week was Peanut's first week back of in-person schooling, so she naturally came down with a head cold. Sigh. I had really enjoyed the Year of No Colds. So it was a weekend of mainlining The Muppet Show and PBS Kids programming, and she's home with me today. I'll see if I can get any work done.
