I've been getting my hair cut - the salon is super careful - everyone's masked (some double-masked), wears gloves, they require that clients use hand sanitizer on arrival and sign that they're not experiencing symptoms and haven't been in contact with anyone who's tested positive or showing symptoms. I saw my dentist before receiving my second shot, saw my eye doctor last fall. Did have a telehealth call with a doctor when I needed prescriptions refilled.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I called to get an eye Appt today. Hope they will call back tomorrow. I am willing to do that less than2 weeks after send shot.
I’ve had 2 haircuts, but none since November.
Teeth will wait until June.
This would have been a blank post, because once again I hit Post instead of Read New. I do not know why I have been doing that the last week. Grrr at myself.
Look at all y'all with plans. I am dreading not having an excuse to not do all that stuff, personally.
Second Moderna shot achievement unlocked.
My oldest son just got his first Pfizer jab, today, too. So far, my mom, my husband, and youngest son are fully vaccinated and past their two-week waiting period. I've had both shots and just have the two weeks to go.
Now my daughter and my other son have both had one.
Next week I renew my driver's license and get a "Real ID" (does that make me a real boy/girl?). Getting THAT appointment took longer and was harder than getting the vaccine appointment. After two months with no luck, I contacted my council member's office ... and had an appointment scheduled that day.
Y'all just reminded me that I can totally go get a massage (assuming the massage therapist is fine with clients who have had/are recovered from Covid, since we have homegrown antibodies). Right on.
I think I was super, extra paranoid after the previous year's hospital stays, so I just really backed off on anything that wasn't 100% necessary for my continued existence. I did see several docs in person, but I didn't have a choice, and where I did, we did telehealth.
The DH got his second shot yesterday and we are counting the days until we can go back to our favorite diner for breakfast.
Hooray, Cindy!
My annual physical isn't due until next month, and I'm hoping to have had at least one shot by then. I miss my salon: it's in a strip mall between a pot dispensary and a vegan muffin shop, with a sex toy store on the other side of the parking lot. The stylists are my age and have tattoos and madly colored hair and ride dirt bikes. It is one of the best places to people watch: you get something from the muffin shop - their coffee is amazing - grab one of the lawn chairs out on the pavement and see who strolls through.
