Interesting! Like something out of White Collar or Leverage, maybe a crossover

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I have signed up for all the pharmacies looking for an open slot for my vax. Now I get to play Internet Whack-a-Mole refreshing and rechecking and also looking for late in the day cancelled slots.
If CVS is one of them, apparently the times are just after midnight or just after 6am.

Noted!

My experience with CVS was that every time I refreshed, new appointments popped up, so keep doing that. Go to this page, and click the link for your state:
It might have been a little more useful for me because we can drive to several different cities in our metro area, and this page showed us all of them.
No advice from me, good luck!
I do want to complain some more about this stupid Word template, though. Why make a table that is just one cell and then space headers across it using spaces? WHY?! I'm almost happy my sales person made me add another piece of information so I had to redo the whole table because that is just useless
Inspired by you guys, I just tried a couple of the Drug Store sites and got an appt next Wednesday at Rite-Aid! So thanks for the nudge!
For Walgreens it's more reliable to call your local store and see if you can get in through the phone system. The online tool gets hung up a lot. But if they boot you to the store phone just hang up, they can't help you.

After spending most of the day on the CA site, Walgreens, and CVS, and getting one appt for me at a Safeway for the 12th, I ended up sitting on the SF site, refreshing (with the availability only box checked), and getting appts for tomorrow for both me and the Math Greek just 15 minutes apart at City College. Which is great because then it makes sense to rent a car. Apparently that location is underused.
That option also gives you second-dose appointments at the same time. I also found their reservation pages much easier to work with and get through quickly. However if the slot is filled as you are going it will bump you back to the first page without saying why, so if you see a bunch of times I would pick a later one because I think everyone just picks the first available and then loses it and has to go back.
ETA: Fingers crossed for Matilda!
Yeah, the SF vaccine site is pretty good. With Walgreens, I was seeing appointment slots being added in the evening.
