Took the day off because Mr. S is on spring break and the nanny had appointments for her kids in the morning. Laura, in regard to trying to find a boat your DH can stand up in, there's a BBC show called Escape to the Country - people living in (more or less ) urban areas go looking for a home - usually an older/historic one - in a more rural area. On one show, the husband of the couple is tall (not DH tall, but taller than average) and they were looking for a place in the country where he could reliably stand up and walk without hitting his head. They were having problems with that.

Todd, there are lots of times that Brendon can't stand in parts of people's homes, including the house I lived in when we were first married. He says when you are his height you get used to it.
