I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

{{{Hil}}}

Thank you for indulging me, Shir

It’s weird that you have to think strategically about Good Stuff, Jesse, but I’m glad you are on top of it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I’m pretty tired of thinking about plagues but if someone wants to draw analogies between the parting of the Red Sea and the Ever Given I am here for that.

2 days after my 2nd Pfizer dose and I am feeling about 95% human again. Yesterday I mostly lay in bed trying not to move my head more than absolutely necessary to take very small sips of tea and water. (Instead of 4 glasses of wine with Seder I drank most of 1 glass of water. Why on this night was I reclining on pillows? Because sitting up straight hurt too much. Blah blah plague ironycakes.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My aunt died this morning. Funeral is probably Tuesday, and I probably can't get to Boston by then, because I'm still not vaccinated and don't want to risk getting on a plane.

What is even happening?

Hil, I am so sorry. Boston is not a good place to be, right now. Our COVID rates are on the rise. This week we have 32 cities/towns at high risk. Last week it was 20. The week before it was 14. Meanwhile, our Republican governor has dropped the travel restrictions to a travel advisory.

I love that.

I'm sorry you were feeling so bad after the vaccine. I'm glad it's almost gone.

My 20 y.o. didn't have the side effects we expected from his second shot. Because he's on immunosuppressants (and in fact had an infusion two days after his second Pfizer shot), I'm not exactly worried -- I just would have liked it better if he felt even a smidgen warm to the touch. He did report feeling achy though.

Hil, I’m so sorry.

My condolences, Hil.

Happy Passover to those who observe!

The status is NOT quo.

Much love to all. Drew and I have an appointment shortly and can't come to the Zoom, but we send our love.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Hil.
