I got an appointment yesterday for about a month from now. I am taking the whole day as a sick day because why not? I need to get there and get back and who knows how I'll react and I have a lot of sick time I rarely use.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Success! at minute 65 of holding. So, as of May 7 3/4 household members will be fully protected (no vaccines yet approved for under 16, sorry Dillo.)
Found out this week that my work is giving employees up to 3 hours off for each shot. Nice. I did mine over a lunch break so no biggie, but I had planned to take a full day for shot #2 and now I won’t. Yay!
Does the happy dance of loved ones being vaccinated!
I think we are supposed to get 2 hours per shot but figuring that out seems like more trouble than it is worth to me right now. I have time to look into it, though. I ended up getting an appointment across a bridge, my county (or Kaiser, I've heard both) is reputedly not getting the full flow of doses they were.
Fucking finally! 50+ in California eligible on April 1st. All Californians by April 15th.
Right on, California!
Good luck moving, Jen!
Good luck getting vaccinated, everyone! I am trying to just be happy for everyone who is eligible and getting stuck already.
Woo hoo, David!
I don't know if I'm regular tired or vaccine tired, but I need to drop off a FedEx package. I should do it now, because that means I can slowly collapse onto soft furnishings as the sleepiness becomes overwhelming. Right? Right.
Getting up. Any minute now.
Bonus: SFUSD is reopening April 26th for the last month or so of school.
