Now I really want the Dunkin. I didn't know they didn't make them anymore since my visits to Dunkin Donuts may be about once a year. Why would they get rid of their best donut?
Going to the zoo this morning with grandson and DIL because apparently it is my job to reach out and suggest going places with them, on a weekday, when I should be working. Per my son. Anyway, DH should be able to cover for me and I will enjoy the zoo and the company. This afternoon going to a customer office to train doctor, tomorrow going to another doctor for myself. So Much Going Places. I really have become accustomed to my couch.
I am a Dunkin fan, but I don’t eat donuts anymore. I never liked Krispy Kreme because I like a plain cake donut with milk the best, and Krispy Kreme was like fried air. However, whenever they were there, I never seemed to be able to stop eating them.
I love the zoo, Laura! Have fun!
I lose everything meara. One thing that has been good about being mostly home bound is that I am alway pretty sure that the object is in my apartment. SO I end up finding it eventually.
Also, I am now listening to the Ologies podcast (AIFG). I liked the shout out!

I like Dunkin and Krispy Kreme just fine. Not much donuttung in my life anymore, sadly. There was a chain called Federal Donuts in Philadelphia, and they were so, so good. Might be more broad than Philly? Unsure. I think they served fried chicken, too, but I could totally be making that up.
Almost done packing! Today, absolutely everything gets boxed unless it goes in an overnight bag, and tomorrow I get us coffee and breakfast from McDonald's. No donuts, more's the pity.
We end up at the Dunkin Drive Thru once a week for ltc's treat day, but I did like the occasional Krispy Kreme. There is a local place here where the donuts are absolutely fucking amazing that we have delivered along with lunch every once in a while, and my all time favorite donut shop is in RI near Mom's. You have to get up early and get there because they close the minute they sell out of donuts, and they always sell out of them.
I don't love donuts in general and have no brand loyalty to Dunkin v Krispy Kreme, but I am generally supportive of bribing people into rewarding people for good public health practices with free pastries.
Thanks everyone—I found the case about 5 minutes ago, so the -ma worked!
When I was a kid, in the autumn we'd go up to a local orchard/farm. It would be cold and we'd get their fresh-pressed cider and donuts fresh out of the fryer ... they may not have had any glaze or anything on them, but I remember the cold air, cold cider and hot donuts fondly.
Hot cider donuts are pretty much the only donuts I bother with. YUM.
(makes "I miss Top Pot" noises) The nearest place that has good donuts is off-island.
8 am on a rainy day is apparently the Right Time to operate a chainsaw. Person, why?
