FB reminded me that today is Volans birthday, which is particularly amusing to me since she doesn't FB. I've been on a FB diet just checking in twice a day to maintain my groups and do family stuff. It is Evil, but there are still people there I don't connect with other places.
The point being, happy birthday to Volans!
He's really only had one semester plus a few weeks *at* college, even though he's in his junior year.
I'm so glad all is lining up well for his return!

My arm where I got my vaccine on Sunday was sort of sore yesterday, but today it seems much better.
My arm was good and sore both shots. The first one resulted in a surprise rash 9 days later. Nothing with the 2nd one except a bit of fatigue. So worth it! DH is finally on the list now. Florida has been awful for people under 65.

DH just took C to get his second shot. I can't express how relieved I'm going to feel.

I think my soreness only lasted a couple of days too, sj. Related, but not, did your shoulder pain you were taking Gabapentin for eventually resolve?

I'm the princess who slept on the pea. If you say "rash" to me, I pretty much develop one, ditto "nausea." And if you ask me if the milk smells or tastes bad, the answer will always be yes, so just dump it out, now.

The pain is not nearly as bad, but it still comes back if I forget to take the Gabapentin. It turned out to be a bulging disc in my neck, which was sending the pain down my shoulder. I've been in PT and putting off the orthopedic surgeon until I can at least have my mother come stay with us, and also secretly hoping that it will magically heal on it's own.
