"It needs to be elsewhere for two days, the living room is fine, we do not need to find 'the right spot' for your blood pressure cuff or that box of business cards you've been saying you were going to scan for two years"
I salute you from "Can we just spend ten minutes tidying something rather than spending four hours tackling the entire task, which of course requires cleaning the dust mop so we can use it, because ten minutes from now I'm going to regret bringing it up?"
I am joining you from the "my tools need to have the right spot, but then I have to build the proper storage for them & go through what is currently in storage". I am about ready to rent a storage space for M's tools (our current storage is in our building) with my own money, just so we don't have to go through that every. Damn. Time. (I wish we had a shed/maker space near us. If I had the $$$, I would apply for that in a community center-type of thingy way.)
Love the grey, dcp!
Aaaargh
I need a new cpap and supplies. The place I went before was sketch and not conveniently located (and the doc and the sleep center had a weird breakup and someone cashed my check but both of them thought they deserved it...). And then pandemic and I did nothing. So finally o figure I’ll set up a visit through the Uw system which is where my PCP is. Put it all under the same umbrella. Well. My appointment was in mid January. A telehealth appointment where her video wasn’t working so we ended up on the phone for all of 20 minutes. For that I am being charged $400 (because they charge as a hospital rate rather than a provider rate???) and despite multiple calls to them and then equipment place they referred me to I have yet to get ANYTHING. Today I get a message from my insurance that they haven’t gotten the info they need so they’re denying my request for new cpap or supplies. What the fuuuuuuck. I fucking hate insurance and the medical world.
That's a bunch of fuckery, meara! I'm angry on your behalf.
So annoying especially because I’ve BEEN calling the DME supplier repeatedly. Nearly every day at this point.
It seems like the pandemic has made the bureaucracy worse than it was before ... which was bad enough.
Just got my vaccine! I am waiting 30 minutes because of my history of antibiotics causing anaphylaxis.
Medical conditions that sound like metal bands, but which you want to avoid at all costs: (1) anaphylaxis; (2) toxic megacolon.
CPAP stuff is such a pain in the ass, meara, and I don't get why. I hope you get it sorted. It's so fucking important!
