Tim has made a dent in the FSA by going to the eye doctor today and getting glasses (his first-ever progressive lenses) and sunglasses. I was going to go, too, but for the past 3 days I've had a scratchy porcupine throat and runny nose and then last night I had a fever before I went to bed. So I didn't want to take whatever plague this is into the close quarters of an eye exam. I'll go next week.
But yay -- today the fever has been gone all day and I feel markedly more human than I have in the past few days. I was basically in bed all day yesterday, except for when I moved to the couch to watch Umbrella Academy and eat mac & cheese. Today I actually took a shower, changed the sheets, and did a load of laundry. And my throat is sore but no longer porcupine-prickly. So I seem to be on the mend.
