Jeni’s has some amazing flavors. The watch out for me is textures. They have a tendency toward add ins that are just gritty or soggy, like cereal or pastry bits that just make the whole thing grainy. So I’m careful what flavors I try, at $10 or more a pint.
But now they’re building one 6 or 7 blocks from here so it’ll be much less fraught!
Ooh that’s exciting, Brenda!! Much less risk if you can try before you buy, or only go scoops size rather than pint!
I used to eat at Jeni's a lot but the scoops are even more exorbitant than the pints (relatively). But the taste-everything-before-deciding is the best.
I have a meeting today (in 30 minutes) with outside agency doing a project with out whole company and the big boss. She wants me to be lead contact on this and I have no idea about the scope or how much work this will be.
Send good and competent vibes please. I have on a face an real work clothes and new nails and jewelry. Even put on perfume even though it’s a video call.

My phone won't turn on, I am assuming it is just that my charging cable has given up but I don't have a spare so I can't test that until I get a new one (hooray one day delivery) but dear lord getting my brain past the use-my-phone-for-that default for a day is extremely hard!

Well, I got my first shot at a university hospital. I was sufficiently excited I couldn't sleep last night; arrived early, it was fast and very well organized. The young woman who gave me the shot was saying that everyone seems so happy - not the usual in a hospital. I checked the time when they sent me out for the 15-minute waiting period and I was done 20 minutes before my appointment time. My arm's a little sore, but so far no other noticeable side effects.
