Alternatively, they will call you everyday for tech support and questions on internet slang.
This has been my experience with giving computers to my mother. I never intended to become an IT technician, but oh well. I am remaining willfully ignorant of all things tablet-based so my cousin gets those tech support calls instead.
I just ran across this movie synopsis while browsing through tonight's TV listings:
Busy chocolatier Charlotte has left helicopter mechanic James at the altar three times. She now needs to prove to him that she really does want to marry him.
Meanwhile, James needs to have his head examined.
contigious
Is that a word?
Or perhaps you meant contagious. Or contiguous?
Reminds me of a family story. We had the hardest time convincing my aunt that "misled" was not pronounced "myzzld."
I meant contiguous! I even looked it up and still spelled it like everyone was pronouncing it!
Volans, in re your press announcement, I know you didn't name CLAMBAKE, but "Operation Clambake," is the name of a longstanding $cientology critique organization, so if/when you talk to the people running the Facebook group, you might want to give them a heads up. [link]
Thanks for joining Laura, and thanks for the info, Cindy. I will pass that along.
Still no word from the potential home buyers. They would have flown home last night. I am choosing to think that he was waiting to get home to be able to determine the exact when where and how to fund this purchase. He has been super chatty and communicative over the past month and we left it that if he didn't choose our house we looked forward to being neighbors. It has been all super friendly. My gut tells me if he decided to get the other house he was looking at he would have told me that right away.
Bottom line, we are in a super Zen place about it. Sell now to this dude, finish some more projects and list it for sale, finish some more projects and stay here for years to come. All good choices.
And I heard from them. They are putting an offer in to buy a larger plot of land and building from scratch. I think the proximity of my back door neighbor bugged them. In prior years you couldn't see the house, but the new owners ripped out the line of palms and now the house is staring down at us. Oh well, on to options B or C.
Well, poop, Laura. I'm sorry it worked out that way.
Yeah, we have decided now we are going to finish a couple projects and list it. A neighbor just did that and put it up on the MLS in a cheap listing deal and sold in 5 days. Inventory is very low right now, and my neighborhood super hot. This current market won't last so we are just going to do it. It would have been nice to have it done, but concrete pouring is in my near future.
