Truer things!
I would never judge. Actually I should find something for lunch. Maybe healthy, maybe junk.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Unfortunately, my boss does not discuss this with me beforehand - I'm in the office, he's working from home - and I'm not allowed to talk during the calls.
Timelies all!
Congrats, meara!
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning at 7.(Regular cleaning) Ugh, I'm going to have to get up at stupid o'clock.
Toddson, given the lack of clear feedback from your boss and the fact that you don't have deep familiarity with the topic, I suspect this is going to be an iterative process of you changing, boss saying "still not right," you changing, rinse and repeat.
I've found those go faster if I overcorrect, so in this case I would drop down to who was there, high-level version of the topics covered, action items, who has them, and when they are due. Nothing else. Shoot for half a page.
it shouldn't take the same type of process as getting a recently released Xbox.
I was joking that I was going to repurpose the bots that buy up the graphics cards and consoles and rent them out for vaccine appointments...then I realized someone is probably already doing that.
Unfortunately, my boss does not discuss this with me beforehand - I'm in the office, he's working from home - and I'm not allowed to talk during the calls.Well, that's bullshit. Can't you set up a 1/1 with your boss before the meeting? Where you're located should have no impact on that.
If you're not already doing this, take notes in the agenda so you make sure you hit all the items and just listen for action items.
I am having leftover bacon-wrapped pork loin for lunch. I would say this makes me a grown-up, but I am following it up with crackers and TJ's horseradish pub cheese.
Yum.
I've had a craving for cheesy, scalloped potatoes, so that's in the oven, and then I'm doing lamb loin chops. I've never made them before; looking forward to it!
I finally found a variety of beef that doesn't seem to set off my allergies - grass-fed longhorn, no hormones or antibiotics. I've got a pot roast going right now so hopefully that'll be a couple nights work of dinner. Except I really need to start eating down my leftovers because good lord.
My reasons for being pescatarian some 35 years ago or so were health based. Last year my nutritionist convinced me that the choices are not what they were 35 years ago and I added carefully select no hormones and so forth meats. It makes cooking for the two of us much easier. FWIW, I had no issues at all when I suddenly changed my dietary habits. So, well done, chrismg, enjoy that pot roast!
Still no word from potential buyer, which I am reading as a good sign because I think he would have told me right away if it was a no, given my experience with him. They are probably on a flight back home now. They will really enjoy this house. Of that I am sure.
