Punishingly Intricate

There hasn't been a vaccine approved for under 16-year olds.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I meant to offer my sympathies and congratulations to people moving! As we know, moving is the absolute worst, but living somewhere new can be great. Laura, may you have the luck of my friend who sold her house for cash before even listing it.

move out and draw fire

I too have been skippy for a bit, mostly because I'm unable to deal so Calli I'm so glad you were able to visit amyth.

Yay for those getting vaccines. I am somewhat more chill now that all our older relatives have been fully vaccinated. New Mexico has been kicking ass and has the highest rate of vaccinations (despite pretty much my entire hometown refusing the vax). I don't think my son and husband will ever have a change to get the vaccine.

But hey, at least there wasn't really a cold and flu season this year.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Hooray, Jess!

Washington is 65 and over/50 and over if you're in a multigenerational household (grandparents living with grandchildren). Here on the island, where a quarter of the population is over 65, the city's been asking for a thousand doses every week and receiving between 100 and 500, with nothing at all some weeks. I currently *knocks on the table* have no pre-existing conditions, so my turn may happen along this summer.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

(Or, in other words, Ohio does NOT have coronavirus vaccinations for everyone year-round.)

Is the Pfizer vaccine the Mallomar of the medical world? Or are Mallomars the Pfizer vaccine of cookies?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congratulations, JenP!

Because books.

My mom and dad finally got appointments here in PA, but they have to drive an hour and a half to York to get them. I'm assuming I won't get jabbed until summer, at least.

Pharmacy locations are still prioritizing essential workers and senior citizens here, but the state sites are accepting anyone with a qualifying comorbidity (which is a pretty long list).

Yeah, we have a pretty broad swath of qualification now here in MA, but still very few appointments available.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

As we know, moving is the absolute worst,

Ahem! Disagree.

Laura, did I miss where you all are moving to? Is this your second move in only a few years or am I mid-remembering?

Yay house JenP!

Yay vaccine Jess!

MD is also still at 65+. An elderly lady in the neighborhood that I see out walking quite a bit went into PA to get one and she is in her 70s or 80s, so not sure what the issue was with getting one here.
