I was listening to the amyth playlist before my noon zoom call and it was very satisfying to be able to think of all the friends I have lost and the friends I have not lost who would also enjoy it, and amyth, but I could not get myself organized enough to turn it back on after the call. Tomorrow I plan to have it on all day.
I made a playlist for amyth a few months ago, when she first got the news. Here it is - be warned that it is NSFW - [link] Be warned that it may also be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster.
There’s some overlap with the one she and T made, but also a bunch of tv-related stuff and some songs from New Orleans I wanted to share.
Oh, good! Thank you
I love your playlist smonster. I have been listening to that and Amy's playlist all evening and thinking of amyth. (also, I love that you have Jenny Owen Youngs from Buffering the Vampire Slayer on it)
Thanks, smonster. I only just listened to a couple yesterday from the one they made, but I want to listen to both all day today. It feels like support and solace at the same time.
Is there any way to support/get something for T and G and C and whoever else has been with amyth in these past few weeks? I'd like to show my gratitude.

Listening to the playlists and I find I don't know most of the music, which is nice because I feel closer to Amy as she shares new music with me. I hope she can feel all the love. Choosing to believe she does.
Same, Laura. Just playing now is Return of the Grievous Angel, and it reminds me of the time on LJ when Amy and I had a little "Yay, Gram Parsons!" moment when she noticed my icon was the cover of the tribute album by the same name. It's sweet and sad at the same time.
