Peanut watches all of the PBS Kids lineup, from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood to Pinkalicious and Peteriffic to The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!. It's vastly more tolerable than any other programming. (We also watch The Muppet Show, but I have to be quick with the fast-forward on that one sometimes. Very much a product of its time.)
edit: We're currently watching the original Mary Poppins for the umpteenth time, though.
My band was featured on Pinkalicious and Peteriffic! (Mostly the kids in it.)
He sometimes watches stuff on PBS Kids, but in this case he was watching "Trolls:The Beat Goes on" and "Polly Pocket". Ugh...
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. It was lovely, and quiet. But as we know, Bob, I like the quiet.
Here's to water staying where it's supposed to, for heat in chilly places, for things that make life better, for things that make us smile. For cookies and new jobs and better days ahead.
It helps that SCOTUS won't hear the GOP bullshit cases challenging the election. Guess the orange blight didn't consider that lifetime appointments mean they aren't beholden to him. It doesn't make it all better, but it helps.
Happy birthday Laura!!
....my motivation to work has not miraculously resurrected itself since Friday. I just want a nap.
Also why are there a million sirens in the past few minutes, making my dog crazy? Not clear if ambulance fire or police but jeez.
Blast from the past time! Someone on Twitter linked to a book I wanted to check out. I follow the link and lo and behold it's at the same site we used for the Buffista Cookbook. And sure enough, it's still there and still available.
So here it is! You can download for free or get a printed version for about $10. It was a real labour of love and has great recipes and great quotes and Raq's amazing art.

Aw, sweet! I'm not sure I have an electronic copy, at that. Handy.
