expected a slow incremental decline of energy and physical fitness due to aging, but 51 should be a noticeable contrast when compared to my thirties, not to the previous year.
To be fair I feel a noticeable difference from last year too, but I just had blood work done and everything was normal, so it’s just pandemic and not specific disease! Oh well.
We have water in all of the appropriate places!
Toddson, I’m sorry about the moving problems. Vortex, I’m glad you were able to deal with the weasel coworker.
Yay appropriate water, Dana!
Today was a long work day at the end of a long work week. But I have a hunters cocktail and a Gardener’s World rerun, so it’s all good.
Hooray appropriate water!
Water needs to be where it belongs and needs to NOT be where it doesn't belong.
This is very important in the scheme of life.
Thank you for the love. Shit was, in fact shut down, and I am blissfully ignoring his claim that he sent a "summary" of my email to the customer (we all know that he cut and pasted that shit) and I do not have to have a meeting on Monday about bullshit where I have to try not to say "our people who are not me fucked this up, so let's talk about how to fix it"
I'm sorry, Votrex. You are loved. And yay for water, Dana!
Also, happy belated, Beverly!
Which eliminates both any regret over going to the expense/trouble of an extra test and any guilt over gaining weight and being lethargic the last few months. Turns out I'm not just a lazy lard-ass after all!
Ah, Matt, my brother in the "Turns out I'm not just a lazy lard-ass after all!" land. I was with mono for a good 6-9 months before it was diagnosed in a blood test, and I still remember it *very* well.
Yay appropriately behaving water!
Too much to do this week to be a lazy ass. Speaking of which, I better get busy.
Yay water in the right places!
Boo puppy who woke me up at 6am and then I couldn’t fall back asleep, while he’s sleeping next to me. Ugh.
Yay sense of smell! Yay for everyone who has power and water as desired.
Greetings from the sleepy land of post-vaccination. Got the shot on Thursday and had scheduled myself to work from home on Friday with a strong possibility of side effects (heck I ran a two day fever after the first dose. My immune system, it is A Thing.) Good call. Managed to be vaguely productive for two hours Friday morning, then started feeling super loopy and making dumb type-os. Right, fever=poor work quality. So I took the rest of the day off sick and went back to bed a little before noon. Napped until about 4, got up, had some soup and lots of water, fed the cats, took a bath, went back to bed. Woke up at a very reasonable hour this morning and about to go back to bed for the rest of the day. I highly recommend the "just sleep through it" course of post-vaccine treatment. I mean, I could load up on ibuprofen and power through it if I had to....but it's so much nicer to just give in and give my body all the rest it wants. Nyquil is great. Wish I could sleep on my back...being a side sleeper and only having one side available to sleep on gets old fast. Lots of waking up due to rolling over and "ow, shoulder hurty!" then back to sleep on the non hurty side.
Cats are deeply offended that they have not been allowed to nap with me. Malachi peed on the bed last week so he is NOT permitted anywhere near my bed.
