Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Good neighboring, msbelle.

Oof, that's a lot of meeting, -t.

I just made a really good coconut flour banana bread from a new recipe, holy yum. It said, "Wait until completely cooled before slicing." As if.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Mm, coconut and banana sounds good. I bet it would go well with pineapple.

I bet you're right. I actually had to substitute some applesauce because I only had two bananas, but that worked just fine.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Got to work a little late between having to de-ice my car and driving slowly on the slippery roads. Otherwise, everything's fine here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thank you all for being a large enough sample size for basically anything. My mother was trying to say that all of Texas had lost power, and was like, NO. Not the WHOLE grid. My friend in Texas has power! (Dana, right??)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Right. Only a lot of Texas lost power, and we apparently came within minutes of the entire grid going down. Yay? But I have not lost power at all.

I'm definitely not saying it's good. I was just suggesting that if we lost power here, the odds are decent that a nearby relative would still have power (they all live in different directions).

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

If anything is going to sink Cruz, it's a picture of the front of his house. All lights are out, despite the fact that power in that area came on last night. The killer, though? His dog can be seen looking out the front door. Apparently it was left alone, in the cold and dark, while Cruz took his kids to Cancun, with what looked like luggage for a week's stay.

Yeah, I think/hope it would take something big to bring down a whole grid.
