I guess just flushing it away is a bad idea
You have to wonder why all facts that we should remember forever are not taught as catchy little songs. Schoolhouse Rock went a long way, but why not more of that?

Rats are known to swim up the pipes into toilets, so I don't think flushing a dead mouse back that way would be a problem. I mean, that's the traditional goldfish funeral, right? And mice are pretty damn small....
Askye, it may be worth it to get your Mom's cat a general vet checkup. He might be in pain of some kind which could be treatable, and a change of venue might not help.
Schoolhouse Rock went a long way, but why not more of that?I still can sing the preamble to the Constitution. If someone would write catchy songs for different programming languages, I would be set.
I am a little afraid to flush because I don’t have the greatest pipes either... I do have ziploc baggies, though! What I don’t want is to plunge up a dead mouse!
Timelies all!
I don't get to sleep in on the weekends anymore. I have to get up at 7 to give Nova her medication, and even if that doesn't wake Mr. S, my brain usually decides it's awake, and I can't fall back to sleep.
Today was an annoying morning, in that I woke up early and my brain did its thing. Nova started meowling a bit before 7 and then Mr. S woke up and it was all over then.
I did it! Mouse is out of toilet! I grabbed it with a ziplock bag and put in a paper bag and then in a garbage bag.
Well done! Bye bye mouse.
I apparently have birds that have nested in my walls/attic/somewhere. I don't see where they got in. Probably need to call some pest person. I don't want DH to go up on the roof because he would crack the tiles. Anyway, I hear the chirping and it makes me nuts.
Good job, Sophia!
Way to go, Sophia!
askye - the blurriness of headlights at night can be an early sign of cataracts. Best to get it checked out.
