My truck is a 1997. Runs a little rough, but still going (except for right now when, according to the AAA guy, it needs a new alternator). I love my truck, but I've been driving the CRV my mom left for the last 7 years so I've had to get it jumped countless times because I just don't drive enough to keep 2 vehicles going. I'd love to hang onto it for sentimental reasons, but insuring it, registering it, etc., my practical side is finally starting to win the argument.
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Oh, no doubt. I wouldn’t have kept Dad’s truck for similar reasons. The Ranger is a nice small truck, and it’s hard to find anything that isn’t a behemoth these days, so I expect you’ll find a buyer easily enough.
Smooth travels, ND!
ND, you are such a good person doing this for Sunny and his people, and maybe a bit crazy. But love you for it anyway.
Been a stranger for a week because my nephew and family were visiting so we were doing all the things. Weather was great and ocean was warm and inviting. Also, I've been somewhat miserable with a large uncomfortable thing on my back. Took antibiotics all week and going back to the doctor today. Off on a cruise on Sunday with my sisters. Been busy!
If I miss the Natter filling up somebody should message me, but I should be on more now that my visitors are on their way home.
Dream sharing! I've been pretty wiped out this week and had a most vivid dream this morning which featured my mother. First time she has visited my dreams in a very long time. It was a short one. I was in my old bedroom from 60 years ago, with my parents' bedroom across the hall. I heard sirens out on the street on her side of the house, so I went over to look out her window and see what was up. She commented on the ouchy cyst I have on my back and told me to go back to sleep in her bed. After getting comfy the ambulance guys came into the room and told us that they weren't there for me, but that I needed to hydrate and gave me a bottle of water. Seriously brain!
Just got off call with Juliana and the AV team at the venue to go over lighting and music.
It does look like we'll be able to do some livestreaming.
Been trading emails with Juliana and Sylvie on flowers and linens and catering.
And I think I've done my due diligence on Memorial planning today, except I have to send a deposit to the caterer.
On my way to the airport!
Yay, Shir!!!
Safe and easy travels, Shir!!!
Yay! So good to hear!
I am a bit amazed to see tourists here. But there are.
