they filled the back of an Outback after being broken down

That's a lot! I periodically have to collect all the boxes from Matilda's purchases and drag them out of her room, for her to breakdown on Sundays.

I knew nothing about it going in other than Kristin Stewart was in it and boy was it a wild ride. At no point in the movie did I know what was going to happen next. So weird.

That seems like an endorsement.

I didn't run this morning, so I was lazy out of the gate. But I rallied and went for a long walk to get some steps in and do some shopping. Then when I wanted to take a nap, I rallied again and cooked not one, but TWO meals to be consumed during the week.

So woo-fuckin-hoo for Saturday night!

I'll run tomorrow.

I don’t know that it’s an endorsement but I guess it did keep me entertained! I had no idea what genre it was even, so there were several points where I was like “oh, so this is about to be a….horror movie? Sci-fi? Thelma and Louise remake? Or…oh. Ok didn’t expect that….”

If anyone wants to FaceTime and so onerous cleaning tasks tomorrow afternoon, let me know!

We keep them for the cat, because we obey his every whim. But then on trash/recycle day, we break most of them down and they go out with the recycling. He gets to keep one (until we buy something else online, and then he has multiple boxes again).

Man, my dad went to the hospital yesterday evening because he had severe chest pain and shortness of breath (obviously the hospital is the best place for him). I haven't talked to him yet today, but looking at his lab results on MyChart, it does look like he probably had a heart attack (though there's an outside chance that he didn't).

He's an asshole, and I'm tired of all of his bullshit, but with the exception of one former POTUS, I wouldn't wish a heart attack on anyone. So I'm just waiting for him to call.

Our wings are not tired.

It's good that he is in the hospital where maybe they can scare some sense into him.

Teppy, my vote is you have fewer crises among your loved ones for a while. Maybe an entire week.

I'm eating my frittata for breakfast, and after some digestion time I'll go do my run.

Matilda's friend Iris slept over and they wandered up from the Garden Apartment for coffee, and toasted baguette with jam then went back down. Iris has a shift at Trader Joe's today. She's a hard working kid!

Update on Cupid the dog after her surgery: “Will try to plan a visit with the new and improved Cupid. She is running around like a little puppy now and smells so much better.”

Yay, Cupid!

We have filled our 100 Easter eggs with toys and candy, and only a very small amount of candy was eaten for quality assurance purposes. Then I did my 30 minutes on the bike and made a pedicure appointment for Wednesday.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

We went out for dinner last night, and Mr. S had a major meltdown/tantrum because we wouldn't buy him ice cream afterwords. He pushed everything off the table, including his drink, then got upset when we wouldn't get him another one. Luckily, we were at a Five Guys, so no broken glass. I still feel bad for the people who were in there with us(customers and workers both).

We got him back to the car and he settled down on the way home, then went to sleep at a reasonable hour.

This week is spring break, so we won't be getting calls from the school.(He'll be with the nanny)

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I’m so sorry, Sheryl, about the difficulties you have been going through.

I bought a new Mac and a new Studio Display this week, so I have lots of boxes to get rid of. I’ve been also going through my closets trying to find an old laptop stand that I had at one point (I couldn’t find it), but now I have a whole bunch of clothes I need to take for recycling, too.

Since Lisa’s horse coworker comment on Friday, I’ve been watching horse farrier ASMR videos on YouTube.
