Ugh, Tim tested positive for Covid. There have been a lot more cases at his work, where those assholes don't wear masks regularly (although Tim always does). Anyway. His symptoms are basically like a cold or sinus infection right now, but his doctor, who is extremely vigilant with Tim's health, wants him to go get an infusion of the monoclonal antibody treatment, since Tim takes immunosuppressants. Which is a smart idea.
I made an appointment to get tested tomorrow (the soonest I can get tested). Since Wednesday, I've had what I assumed was a cold, but I guess we'll see.
God damn it.
Oh damn Steph. I hope it passes quickly and easily.
So far, it just seems like a cold, so I hope it stays that way.
Silver lining is, once he's negative, he can go back to working days, since he was working second shift to try to avoid getting Covid.
Thanks, Assholes of Ohio! Fuckers.

It can take that turn ten days in.
Eep, hope Tim's case is super mild and you don't have it at all, Tep! Glad his doc has a treatment to try
Oh geez, that sucks Steph. Fingers crossed for you.

I mean, I'm probably more aware than most of the potential clinical course of Covid, so I do know the whole range of outcomes. I'd just rather stay optimistic at this point.
Best of luck to you and Tim, Steph.
The only time I recall having 40+ hours of homework was in college once I started in on my graphic design major and had projects to turn in. Oh, and the semester sophomore year when one Art History class required that much in study time and I had to completely phone in my Color Design class to compensate (I knew I could pass that one in my sleep). I'd say that is way too much work and pressure to be hitting kids with if the homework itself is actually taking them that long.
