Our wings are not tired.

Sitting on the edge of my seat here. Brendon lost his phone. Probably had it on top of the car and drove off. The car starts via Bluetooth, so we know he had it when he left. When he was leaving the dog park he couldn't start the car. No responses to my texts or calls to the phone by whoever has it. He tracked it to one place and a bit later it shows it is at a car repair place. He Has Gone There. I asked him to at least take his brother with him. (he didn't) Here's hoping it is a dog park person who has gone to work. I am not at all pleased with him going after it. Ugh. There is an upside and downside to the tracker.

Yikes Laura! Hopefully someone will look at his size and decide not to antagonize him.

I'm anxiously awaiting his call on my business phone since he has my cell.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Check in, Brendon!

I've been lax the last few days but I cleaned the kitchen and ran the dishwasher while Matilda was getting ready. (Matilda also made me do a Hype video to her friend Malia because Malia was not happy with her hair. "Hype her up!")

Now I'm off to run after faffing off for a couple days. Then my friend Jes is coming by in her car so we can go buy paint for the back stairs. She'll start doing some decorative painting today and I'm excited about that.

EM didn't come by this week because it was her birthday (we're taking her out to dinner tonight), so I'm going to have to do a few onerous tasks of my own.

Oh crud I just remembered I have a personal trainer session this afternoon. Good for my body (I haven’t worked out in over a week) but. Bad for my desire to be slothful!

Y’all may appreciate this: a whole bunch of videos of women draping saris in different regional ways. Fascinating to me.

He got his phone back. My son called him and he told him it slid off the top of the car and he got it back. I guess I'll hear more when he gets home. He had tracked it to 3 different locations!

Ah, son tells me the screen is smashed so whoever found it couldn't read the texts or answer it.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

he couldn't start the car.

Is there not an alternate method?

He had my car because it has the dog hammock in it. I do have key cards, but he didn't have one with him. We are accustomed to using the phone for access. Now that I think of it I probably could have started it remotely for him with my phone app. Didn't think of that! eta: I know I can do a bunch of stuff remotely, like advance the song on the radio just to mess with him.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oof, Kate Middleton has cancer. Apparently the surgery was to remove a tumor and she's now undergoing chemo. The fact that it was operable is encouraging. I wonder if it was colon cancer like Jacqueline.
