Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've been stress shopping lately and justifying it as dressing appropriately for JZ for her memorial. It's somehow both sad and enjoyable, and it sure as hell beats dealing with the clusterfuck that is my family.

I completely validate this self-care-through-shopping!

I have several questions...

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

The muffins aren't great and I went to the dentist and I have a cracked tooth and need a crown. The first part of that isn't related to the second, but I'm sulking about everything.

Thrive to spite them

YAY for Nilly's son's Bar Mitzvah.

Boo to family members being difficult.

I have been playing phone tag and other things trying to get the name brand of Vyvanse filled because I found a pharmacy that had it in stock but not the generic. The generic is on back order until late March, early April, or late April depending on who I talked to "or maybe even later than that". The insurance needed a prior authorization. They denied it. I got a recorded message saying it had been denied and I'd get a letter in 7 -10 business days and to see my policy about why. I'm pretty sure it's because there is a generic available. I'd like to talk to someone but I couldn't find any number to call (the number I got a call from wasn't one you can call back ).

I think with all the issues with access and how it stresses me out I'm going to see about switching to a non stimulant medication and see if it will work. I was venting to a co worker I know who as ADHD and he said he switched to a non stimulant med and has been really happy with it. I know YMMV but it's worth a shot.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

also need a crown in the next few months. in my case, not a surprise, but not a bouquet, either, you know? First time having a female dentist, that was wild. A(maybe Muslim?) man and wife bought the dental practice I go to.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I have several questions...

Me too. Such as is the horse really a co-worker if it's not getting paid?

Our wings are not tired.

Yes Plei, stress shopping seems totes appropriate. Also, Buffista sprog ages are mind-boggling.

I need to schedule the dentist too. On my list of before I head north tasks.

I'm not happy with my body today. A cold seems to be the gift with purchase from my flight home, and my hip just hurts. I think the painkiller is helping, but I keep twisting the wrong way and regretting it. I did take a nice nap, and DH is picking up takeout.
