I'm trying not to let them be my problem. And I don't think the nephew can. As far as I can tell he doesn't have a job, doesn't get disability, and I think just does odd jobs. I'm not sure.
He has actually done a lot around the house that M can't and I don't have time to (or want to) and M's Mom can't . So he isn't just sitting around and M's Mom swears she doesn't want him to actually move in. I'm not sure.
I'm at the point where I am just doing my thing and try to avoid getting pulled into drama. I have 2 days off thos week and I'm hanging out with Crafty Friend on Tues for the first time in months. So Im happy about thst
Yes, yes it is.
I am eating some of my weekend lasagne. It's good. That's a legit spelling, isn't it? I'm getting red squiggly push-back...

Oooh, look at you reaping the rewards of your weekend cooking!

I think lasagna with an "a" but surely with an "e" is an alternate spelling.
I got Matilda off to school with homemade chili in her thermos and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich to go. Loaded the dishwasher and ran it, and then I took my body out to the Kezar steps and also ran it. This body has been run.
Today I am making a To Do List just for JZ's memorial, and hope to tick off several items. I am also taking my car in for an overdue oil change, and am kind of looking forward to that time where I can take a book and skive off to a local cafe for an hour and read.
I think I need a more regular, alotted reading time, because I want to but I keep letting it get swept away by the pressing requirements of the day. Then in the evening I'm often too tired to have the focus.
Mmm, chili. Scheduling reading time seems like a good idea.
Pretty sure lasagna and lasagne are both fine. I am not getting squiggly red lines, fwtw.

I have to find a massage therapist, because ≥30 minutes on the bike 5 times a week is now business as usual for me, but my legs are sore as hell, even though I stretch afterwards. (I told Tim, "I never used to get sore like this before Covid!" and he calmly roasted me by saying "You were younger then." Which, fair enough.)
Ah, dcp, with the distinction! Well, it was only lasagna on the plate today -- though I have been known to eat lasagne when given options.
Good for running, David! I... walked the dog a little? I did say I was going to go to the pool today... huh. I should do that soon, because I have class tonight at 7p, so... hmmm. Backtracking to give myself an hour to prep for class, I should leave for the pool by 4:45p.
OK. I can do this. Keep the one goal I articulated for today. Yes.
I am eating fancy chocolate chips to help me not snap at some project managers who are arguing with me. Let's see if that works!
