Ramadan started today, so since yesterday I've been mentally preparing myself to (read: worrying about) escalation. 1/10, do not recommend.
And ItotallyON, unless the flights will get canceled, I will be flying to NY in end of April and return here from SF a bit after May 18th. Details in the doc, you know where.
Hoping to meet as many of you as I can, and oh, I have some "where to stay?" and "commuting in US: is it rocket science?" questions.
Oh! That is good to hear, Shir. Of course, the part about you heading this way, not so much the reason for worry.
Until I'm on my way to the airport, I don't think I'm going to believe it. So many flights are canceled. But I'm very much looking forward to seeing many of you in person. East coast, I took a few extra days to travel down from NY to Baltimore and DC.
And if there's anything you'd like from Jerusalem/Israel, let me know! Happy to bring stuff with me.
Oooh that is exciting news, Shir!!
Exciting! We will see you at Jacqueline's memorial. We don't get in until that morning and then leave the next morning, but we will be around for Buffista shenanigans that evening.
We're probably flying in Thursday night. I'm trying to decide if I'm taking Friday off or working from whatever hotel we're in. Hmm.
Working on the calendar of the visit. You'd be surprised how many times I have to remind myself that Sunday is a weekend, Friday is a weekday (every ten minutes or so).
We'll meet in SF because I will be on a cruise with my sisters April 28 - May 6.
So, I am only halfway through the Oscar's, but so far I am enjoying it. I can never stay up so late, but it doesn't take too long to watch the next day since I zoom through the commercials. My first comment on the outfits is that I spent a lot more time saying how lovely or perfect for them than I did saying, what were they thinking! That was nice!
Ooooh, this is opening the next block over from me: A classic diner made by Hollywood set designers.
