Great Plains? That the only thing I can think of in the us and that’s not a natl park I don’t think. Great Lakes? That’s not either is it?
Great Barrier Reef is the only thing in my brain.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Yes the two I came up with were Great Basin and Great Smoky Mountains but did not know that Great Sand Dunes is a park??
My brain did keep trying to do “grand” (canyon, Tetons, something) instead of great. A lot of teams just said things like “Great Glacier!”
Good on you for two, meara. I would have gotten exactly zero of those.
I am msbelle on the Greats. Great Scott. Great Googlymoogly. Great Balls of Fire. No parks. I might be able to say, "oh, that sounds right" to the actual parks but I probably would also say that to totally wrong answers
Great Scott.
That's the only "great" phrase that came to mind (in the voice of Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown, of course).
My dentist repaired a filling (last time I was there, he said "Well, I don't like the way I did that filling for you -- come back and I'll repair it, no charge"), and so half my damn mouth is numb and feels 3 times too big. So freaking weird. But yay, fixed filling!
Next Thursday is for dealing with Dad and his hallucinations -- he agreed to see a neuropsychiatrist, although I'm pretty sure he thinks it's just to adjust his meds. And who knows? Maybe it will be just an adjust-his-meds visit. But it really needs to be a sir-you-need-inpatient-care-right-the-fuck-now visit.

Of course!
Good luck with the dad-psych visit. I'm glad he's at least not fighting you on going to the appointment.
There's the Great Dismal Swamp.
EM came over for our weekly (while she's in town - she and her guy travel a lot to Montana) assault on various bureaucracies, and I was able to dig out of a bunch of issues which had been dragging me down including the Pension Plan!
Which is not being blocked but just needs even more paperwork and info from my financial planner.
Also, heard back from the space I wanted for JZ's memorial (The Lodge at the Regency Ballroom), and I have secured the date! Now I just have to do the other shit. But Sylvie and Juliana have volunteered to help with that, so I'll have some very competent extra hands to get that together in the six remaining weeks.
Here's the Lodge: [link]
Got checks out to my mortgage company and the IRS (for some late addition to 2020 taxes), and have boxed up and readied four other things that I want to get mailed.
So my advice when you're drowning from lack of executive function is to hire somebody to come around and kick your ass into shape.
Home from the colonoscopy, with no polyps or concerning findings. Since I've now had six clean colonoscopies, the doctor is recommending I go to every 5 years instead of every 3, which is fine by me.

Yay! All clear!
Everybody pinky promise to do a colonoscopy this year if you are due! Promise!
