Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

If I have a migraine that won't go away, steroids are the only the thing that work. Either IV dexamethasone or prednisone orally (either a Medrol pack or a 10-day course). But let me tell you, doctors do not like prescribing steroids these days. I used to be able to go to urgent care for an IV, but they won't do steroids anymore.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sadly, I’m still at the perimenopause phase where I get my period more often rather than less. I do not like it. I also didn’t make it out of the house today. I’m attacking my current uti with a second round of antibiotics and I just hit a wall today where I didn’t have any energy. I cried and went back to bed. Now we’re watching Moongirl as a family and eating pasta e fagioli.

Ugh Dana, that sucks, and I noticed that about steroids. I usually always get one for the cough that won’t die, but the doctor I saw wouldn’t give me one this time.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, probably not for everyone but apparently having inconsistent estrogen levels can make certain brain meds inconsistent as well. It’s fun times that I hope you avoid, but the doctor I saw wasn’t surprised at all when I mentioned it.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Huh. My doctor suggested I stop using my allergy med (Flonase) in the winter, because she says it’s a steroid. My allergies are mostly to pollen, so there’s less floating about in winter, but in NC it’s rarely entirely gone.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I don’t know what to do - I should have a -t and yet I do not. She texted me once that she dropped her phone and then didn’t replay again, so maybe it is broken? I called the airport and paged her and waited for almost 20 min, but she never came.

Hopefully she’s on her way and hit some traffic or something? Or she is in an endless taxi/Lyft line? She texted me about an hour ago, which was about an hour after she was supposed to land. Hrmph.

She hasn't posted here or Facebook since earlier today. I would guess her phone is broken. I can't think how else to help. Could she not have your address handy?

She’s here! All good, though maybe without a phone.
