I tested out using our internal AI Assistant (basically ChatGPT but approved for company use) to write a difficult and awkward email (following up on an interview to ask if I got the job or are they still deciding, basically) and OMG, game-changer. DON'T use AI to plagiarize art, DO use AI to write your terrible corporate bullshit.

Went to the library to print out some stuff, and the woman sitting next to me was squinting at the screen and peering over her glasses and getting her face real close to the monitor. I said, "Ma'am, you can make that bigger if you need to," and she said, "Oh, thank you, but I'm not trying to read it."

I can imagine myself doing that. I can't think of a reason to do it, but I can see finding myself doing it.

I heard Werewolves of London the other day so I'm having a big dish of beef chow mein for lunch. My hair, however, is not perfect.

So far we are doing okay here in the canyon. There have been some slides farther up, but the roads are all still open and passable.

Timelies! Not much to say yet, but I did just write up a ramble about some of the odd things I've been watching.(Still nothing to write fanfiction about, I don't think. I might be done with that.)

I’ve been trying to do work, but I had some stuff taken off my plate, which is great, except now I’m paralyzed by having fewer urgent tasks? Ugh.
