Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Never had a problem with gabapentin and I've gone on and off of it for years. I thought I was on a pretty high dose at 300 mg three times a day.

Most issues reported were with a much, much higher dose and long-term use.

Hopefully no issues and fingers crossed, JenP.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I did an escape room with coworkers around six years ago. It was fun. We “escaped”. But it felt like trivia night at the pub, without the drinks option. So it could be better.

Cute cottage/house, but ... why are the walls black in every room?

Yeah, I’d be ok with that in the kitchen and living room, but smaller spaces would seem pretty oppressive to me. And repainting would take several coats, even with a blocking base layer. It’s giving me flashbacks to when I was earning some extra money repainting a rental property a friend of a friend was selling. The last tenant had gone a bit wild with the wall colors, and the bright orange room took forever to cover up. But I was getting paid by the hour, so I was fine with it. If the buyers don’t repaint it themselves, whoever they hire will love these design choices.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I saw online a woman who was obsessed with Outlander. She and her husband redid their 1759 house so it looked more like something from Scotland - lots of deep blue walls, one room had imitation stone on the walls to make it look like a castle. It was well done and looked good, but that may take fandom a bit too far (note I said "may"). Needless to say, she had a meltdown when they announced it was ending (Outlander, not her house).

Our wings are not tired.

Escape rooms in theory sound fun to me, but I'm self aware enough to know that timed puzzle solving would hit my anxiety buttons.

We did one and it made me feel utterly incompetent with the staff viewing us having to give us most of the clues.

Yay for the new job, Amy! Sounds like a good fit.

Needless to say, she had a meltdown when they announced it was ending (Outlander, not her house).

Well, the books did end.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ltc is back at school. She has a half day but mom and stepdad are going to pick her up. I’m drinking a dirty chai in the hopes that I’m not a complete crank demon when they arrive.

Our wings are not tired.

Have people been reading all this Taylor Swift Super Bowl conspiracy stuff? Just when I think the theories can't get more insane, they top themselves.

Punishingly Intricate

I’ve done a number of escape rooms over the years and they’re pretty fun. I always feel good if I can solve one of the clues and help my teammates with the others. Thankfully I’ve always gone with people who are much better at puzzles than I usually am.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The funniest thing about the Taylor Swift "controversy" to me is the people convinced that she's dating Kelce for his money.

Yeah, I wasn't the super-solver, but I did some stuff. I was a good assister!

I'm not actually worried about the gaba. I tend to not have issues with stuff like that, and I'm on a low dose.

Regular workday inbetween meetings. Don't wanna.

Glad ltc was able to go to school.
