I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Susan, I make my mortgage payments to Shellpoint but they sometimes refer to themselves as NewRez and I'm so curious about both those names!

Last time I had to pay for something with a check it was easier to go to the post office and get a money order.

I like auto-pay and bill pay for the "won't miss it or forget" aspect, but I always liked writing checks. Whenever I have to find my checkbook now, though, it usually takes a minute.

Lunch break from team meeting, which is a good meeting. Last night we went to a fab Mexican dinner and super fun escape room thing. I'd never done one before, SO MUCH FUN. It was my first. Now I'm going to plan one with my peeps at home.

My new company is Mr. Cooper, and it gave me a moment of worrying that my mortgage could be sold to a private individual before I looked it up online. I am not a fan. Though at least they did send me an introductory email soon after the prior mortgage company told me about the switch, so maybe they're responsive? We'll see once they have my account transferred over in the next week or so.

I pay electricity/water and medical bills by check, but almost everything else is online or charged to a credit card.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, I went to an escape room a few years ago and loved it, and have never gone back! I should round up some people for that.

I should round up some people for that.

I concur!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks. It is an ear infection. We have an antibiotic and a happy meal for ltc. Her doctor was kind enough to point out that I sound awful, as if I’ve had any time to take care of me.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I pay for our utilities with a check, because the last time I had it on autopay ConEd stole accidentally charged us $10k and took 6 months to pay it back. I could pay online but I want an actual paper trail because I don't trust them.
