I’m pretty sure I’m not having a stroke, considering how long I’m having to wait (they did triage me and get an ECG, which was normal, so that’s nice). Also, I think a migraine is brewing, so that’s going to complicate stuff.
There are 14 people including me in the waiting room, and only 4 of us (including me) are wearing masks. This is the ER waiting room. Covid is still a thing. I am boggled.
[edit] They have not yet offered me dirt to rub in my eye and/or blood pressure.
I’m not sure how one would rub dirt into blood pressure but from my medium medical knowledge I would not recommend.
I mean, I’d be willing to try it.
Pretty sure most medicine in 14th century France was "rub some mugwort on it."
I burst a blood vessel in my eye once, and it was pretty gnarly. Also, I didn’t notice until people at work started commenting, so that was fun. But it didn’t hurt and it resolved, and nothing ever came of it.

Plus honey, garlic, and probably goldenseal.
It’s possible I’m looking at a recurrence tomorrow, though. I literally just put a calendar block on for tomorrow morning marked “Crying”.
We’re saying goodbye to Mozzie this afternoon. He took a 3 to 4 week prognosis and turned it in to an extra 10 months on sheer stubbornness. But it’s taking a turn the last week or two and especially the last couple of days. So here we are.
Goldenseal is great for cleaning up one's urinary tract.
also, sniffly stuff.
aw, Brenda, how happy-sad

Oof. I'm sorry, but glad for the ten stubborn months.
Aww so sorry to hear that Brenda. I hope it’s loving and peaceful.

Dunno about goldenseal but at least honey and garlic have antibacterial properties! And are yummy, though maybe not together.
