aurelia, I have nothing to add, other than it sounds like an exciting opportunity if you have the time and the emotional and physical bandwidth for it.
But, as I was scrolling and I saw that the next post after yours was from JenP, I was relieved because she seems to have such a knack for coming up with really practical lists and thinking of details that never even occurred to anyone else.
smonster, that sounds really frustrating. I have a guy like that, but thankfully it's very rare I need him to train me on anything. If it was consistent behavior, I don't know what I'd do. Good luck!
I'm sorry, smonster. I hope you can find something somewhere where you can learn and be appreciated.
No advice, aurelia, but how exciting!
Jen P’s questions seem like good ones! Would you have to do office hours and would they have to be at a place vs online, would be my other question if it were me
My son and his gf are arriving tomorrow for a week's visit. Son said he didn't know where is bathing suit was but he could just wear basketball shorts. So I ordered them matching couples bathing suits - [link]
Yes, they will be fine here and in the keys this weekend. Sent GF the link but not him and she loves.
Ha, Laura!
So I just agreed to take the teaching gig. Thanks for the question suggestions! I'll probably come up with a million more before the first class.
Couples bathing suits? Oh my.
So I had a mouthguard I hadn’t used in a while, and tried to use it last week, and then couldn’t find it. Did it get lost somewhere when I took it out in the middle of the night? But I suspected my dog might’ve eaten it?? He seemed fine so I went ahead and used a different one. And I’m pretty sure he ATE THAT ONE TOO. Really hoping he will just pass it and not get injured in his tummy but wtf dog??? And like, ATE it, not chewed it up or chewed off a piece. I found one tiny bit of chewed up plastic in the carpet so I’m pretty sure it was him.
Those are great, Laura!
Maybe time for a case as well as the guard, Meara? Since I'm betting the doggo can't be reasoned with!
Good luck, aurelia!
Not surprised, meara. Skinner has not consumed but has left the mangled remains of my earbuds twice. I think they always live in the charging case now. Never again will I leave them on a side table. I only wear one at a time, but twice I was foolish enough to leave them in reach. A mouthguard he would swallow.
