I, for one, am happy we’re getting a taste of real winter. It’s been too long. (And very grateful for my warm home, of course)
Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Hmm, says 83, with lack of wind chill, feels like 89. I can confirm that it is sticky out.
I envy SO MANY of those degrees!
My computer says it's 18 here, but thanks to perimenopause, the only part of me that's cold is my toes (despite wool socks and puffy slippers). The rest of me is totally comfortable, but my toes are not getting the message.
My pink Birkenstocks got delivered today (thank you, Barbie movie), but I'll be waiting for many more degrees to wear them.
((((Kristin and Drew))))
I’m so sorry.

I'm torn, I'm not a fan of anything above about 75, but here lately my preference for cold is getting tested. I don't know if it's getting older or chemo aftereffects or what, but the cold seems to be hitting harder this winter (and yes, I'm VERY thankful to be living in a place where I can make that observation at 59 degrees not the crazy cold some of y'all are dealing with!)
Kristin, I'm so sorry that you have joined us in this Loss Club. I hope and pray that loving memories will bring you what comfort is possible in the coming days. I wish you grace and peace and so much love.
it's 67 here. not bad....wish I could teleport to SF for June or something, though.
Hugs to Kristin and Lisa
And a quiet, comfy room with warm beverages for everyone in cold places and/or dealing with life shit.
We've been having chiily nights, but in the "Don't forget to close the windows" way, not the "Keep the pipes from freezing" way
Much love to you, Pix and ND.
I’m so sorry, Pix & ND. Sending love.
Oh Pix, I'm so sorry.
