Every time I pay my Comcast bill I have to remember that it calls itself Xfinity and then search for that app and that brings up Twitter and that is all just deeply weird.
I refused to update the app in question so on my phone it is still Twitter with the bird.
I might be more like Jeff Winger in a ceramics class, TBH.
I took a pottery class last Friday (a very basic introduction to the pottery wheel class), and when I got home, the first thing Tim asked was "So, was it like the pottery class in Community?" (SPOILER: it was not.)
SPOILER: it was not.)
I would have been so amused if you'd gotten a "no ghosting" warning, not gonna lie.
Pottery wheel! So cool, Tep

Mine must have automatically updated at some point, it looks terrible
I have a nice little low-key bluesky stream to follow. It doesn’t think I’m a furry but it does think I might be a fan of Chinese Film Star Wang Yibo, who is a nice young man but not my type.
I just sent in a signed offer letter and will be leaving my library for one 45 minutes away but with (I hope) better management AND I managed a big raise out of it. I am having all the feelings about this (will totally be leaving my direct reports in the lurch as we are woefully understaffed and they and I have been doing all the work; had another extremely stupid spat with my stupid boss who manages to possibly be the most disrespectful person I have ever worked for AND not self aware enough to realize it. But I like to be the better person so I hate myself. Anyway. Just keep swimming.)
Bluesky thinks I should follow furries, people with kink-oriented OFs, and Hannibal peeps. Weird, but not the worst suggestions in the world. Not that I look at bluesky very often, because most of my fandom peeps are still on Twitter.
I keep meaning to post more, but it's pretty much all
"Work is chaos but I like my job, new house is awesome, oh G-D still so much unpacking".
With a side of
"I hate seeing my personal trainer, but he's a good guy and it's not his fault I hate exercise".
Honestly, I'm (still!) the most active on Tumblr.
Congratulations, flea! You have to take care of yourself sometimes. (Sorry about the commute.)
I am going to listen to audiobooks, I guess.
Oh, wow, flea, I hope this is a good move! Yay raise, for sure!
Congrats. flea! Commuting sucks but escaping bad management is priceless.
