the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Non-car-related, I woke up with a migraine and require morphine so that my poor, pitiful self can survive until the Ubrelvy kicks in (she says, while continuing to stare at a computer screen because she is a ridiculous person). And yet there is no morphine. Woe.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And here I thought I might have escaped that... :D

Nope.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So sorry about the migraine, Tep. Wishing you pain-relief and big red bows and butt-warmers

ETA and thank you for completing my marketing survey, your satisfaction is important to us

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Some of my project managers are suggesting I publicly shame other project managers for not providing update information by the release notes deadline. I think they've either forgotten who they're suggesting this to, or forgotten that under my cheerful demeanor lurks someone who likes menacing people.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Suddenly glad to not be a project manager who failed to deliver project management stuff to Atropa.

Migraine, begone!

New Car, be-near!

Thanks so very much, everyone.

More hugs and other warm thoughts to all and sundry.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Release notes, ptui.

I actually have the miracle of all miracles: developers who document what they do.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think you might need to hold out for a butt-warmer! It'll make you happy in February.

Year-round - they’re fabulous for stiff or achy muscles or to keep those at bay on long drives.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I always thought that heated seats were kind of ridiculous in SoCal - we don't get THAT cold. Then a guy that I used to go dancing with had them. And they are The. Friggin. Best. for the tired out muscles from swing dancing!

Our wings are not tired.

Y'all can send some kind of ~ma for my brother. Kid brother (11 months younger) takes the worst care of himself imaginable. He has MS, and water on the brain, and mobility issues, diabetes, CPOD. He smokes like a chimney, eats junk and candy, and has pretty much had a death wish for decades. I saw him last weekend and his balance was scary, but the same as it has been, but his breathing sounded horrible. Ex-SIL, and current caretaker, has indicated the breathing is worse and picked up some scripts pending an appointment Sunday, but it sounds like ER may happen sooner. He won't do whatever they tell him to do, so I don't even know what to hope for. Siblings! (right up there with Kids! and Parents!)

Wait, those exist? I thought they were a fairy tale made to lull tech writers into a state of complacency.
