I've never made pesto ... pre-made is good enough for my taste.

I was once in the hospital ER and a young man had been diagnosed with an allergy to pine nuts of all things. While I understand that pesto can be made with other nuts, this struck me as one of those allergies you run into once in a while. If I remember correctly, Trudy Booth is allergic to myrrh of all things. I have minor environmental allergies, but the only thing that's odd is I can't eat lobster. I got cleared to go back to work, and to drive, but now I'm waiting for various corporate entities to wrap themselves in red tape before I can be made "active" as an employee again, and get scheduled. So stupid.

I celebrated my freedom on Saturday by driving my car and doing errands, and then went home and fell going up the porch steps. I broke the fall with the back of my head on the cement path, which was not as much fun as you'd think. Ended up with a clear CT scan and X-rays, and 4 staples in my skull. The amount of blood produced by one small would was impressive.
