Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
Elections results in general seem to be going my way? My uneventful local elections were uneventful. But I am probably getting a promotion for the presidential primary!
But not having a primary relationship, not having somebody to come home to, is hard. I have the pictures I had framed for Jacqueline's funeral service out on the parlor table and miss her face 18 times a day.
Oh yeah. I think my mother still has a picture of my father on the kitchen table where she eats.
Mom's housing issues are worked out for now. The landlady has multiple tenants that can't afford to buy their place and are worried about people buying and raising rent so she's been working out a deal with Habitat for Humanity where they will buy the houses and keep rent at a reasonable level for the current tenants.

That damn railroad sale issue is passing 53%-47%. It hasn't been called yet, but unfortunately, I don't think it'll flip to No at this point.

Dangit, my face is having another delayed adverse reaction to the laser resurfacing. Super itchy and burning and bumpy. Kind of like an aggressive heat rash.
Fortunately my doctor was immediately responsive and I'll see her tomorrow morning. Unfortunately that's many hours away and this really sucks.
At least I don't look like a cartoon dog this time.

So I think we're at a cautious *mostly* yay for the latest test results.
That sounds like a yay to me. Sorry for the endless testing, My sister had surgery for lung cancer about 25 years ago but still has to have a round of various tests every year to follow up.
I haven't heard all the results yet, but it looks like Ohio, Virginia, and Kentucky did good things.
