Yeah the problem is that I believe her wife is a sociopath or something. There was a LOT of lying straight to peoples faces and then manipulating and it was really gross and I think she is just deluding herself if she thinks it won’t happen again. And I hate that for her. And she knows it and is uncomfortable (Also hard to hang out since they’re in another city and so it’s usually see both or see neither)

We actually hiked while it was light out, so that was nice. Paved trail, mostly flat, winds near a big lake, so very pretty. Tim sets the timer on his phone for 15 minutes and we walk until the timer goes off and then turn around and go back -- it was about 1.5 miles total. He didn't use his cane -- he's pretty much done with it.
Since I'm the one who tells people to seek medical care when needed, I am confessing right here that I managed to bonk my head on the open car trunk when we were leaving. Obviously it hurt, but I didn't have any concerning symptoms (also, I had a pre-existing migraine, so "head pain" is hard to gauge). So we hiked, and I was fine, no dizziness, no trouble walking at normal speed. When we got home, Tim looked at my pupils and said one was larger than the other; I looked in the mirror, and it sure is.
That's my only concerning symptom, so rather than hit up the ER, I am in the queue for a telehealth appointment through a service our insurance has. I'm 99.9% sure my noggin is fine, but I just want to be sure. I definitely will go to the ER if the telehealth clinician thinks I need to go, but it's probably just a minor bonk on the ol' head.
The telehealth doctor said nothing I described is a red flag to her, but since she couldn't see me physically, she said going to Urgent Care is probably a good idea, and yeah, that's true. So I'm eating some leftover pizza and then Tim will drive me up there.
She did say that sometimes people can get different-sized pupils with a migraine, although my quick googling tells me that means it's a super bad migraine, and today's migraine doesn't fall in that category. It's interesting, though.
Yikes Teppy. Don’t secretly have a brain bleed please. Take care of yourself. Different sized pupils is a bit scary.

Car trunks are dangerous! After I had my Moh's procedure I leaned into the back of the car and caught the door edge right into the wound. So painful!
Urgent Care has cleared me and just said to watch for any drastic changes in head pain cognition, etc. And we got home just in time to see the Bengals score the first touchdown in the Bills game.
Teppy, I've read your last post first, right when I logged in, so I already knew you were OK when I read back to find our what had happened, but I still hope you're OK and migraine-free (or as free as possible) and same-sized-pupils today.

Oy, that's definitely complicated to keep in touch in such circumstances, when one of them is so problematic. Sigh.
The migraine is fully gone this morning, yay! And my pupils seem to be the same size, so I seem to be all good.
That seems a very imprecise cure for migraines, but take the win.
