I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Laura, you're always an early-morning timezoned poster to me. Have a safe and uneventful voyage.

ND, I hope that the business news would be better, and that you'd be able to be less stressed about it.

meara and David, oh, how it's the everyday sort of things that "ping" the loss so much. My heart goes out to you.

Sheryl, I hope you'll be able to get back home as soon and as peacefully as possible. It reads so frustrating, on so many levels.

Also, askye wrote so well about hoe the experience may be especially difficult on Mr. S.

It took until this morning for my sweet potato brain to realize that I could

Hey, but you've figured it out on time, so go you! And congrats on the new mattress - may it be good for backs and just-the-right-amount-of-pillows and naps and good dreams.

I only had two trick-or-treaters for Halloween rather than the horde I was expecting. But they were cute, and made me feel my preparations weren't entirely in vain. I'll just have leftover candy for the next month or two.

Leftover candy? is there such a thing?

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, either toss the candy in the freezer for emergencies or sometimes assisted living or nursing homes will take them.

I'm packing my car - in the snow!! Going to lunch with my son, gf, sister, and niece to say byes. Packing the various things in my car is a real Tetris experience.

The leftover Reese's cups went in the freezer, and Tim took the leftover Butterfingers and Milky Ways to work yesterday, where they were greeted with much rejoicing.

I've always kind of hated my job, but I find I've been hating my job a whole lot more since we adopted Microsoft Teams.

I was quadruple-booked for meetings this afternoon.

I haven’t used other things than Teams—what’s better? What is awful?

I loathe Teams. Zoom is bad enough, but some people insist on using Teams - for chat, for meetings, etc. And all our phone calls are routed through Teams and, for some reason, the transfer feature keeps not working, so I'll be stuck with a call and I have to tell people to either call the person - and give them their direct line - or email them.
