On Not-A-Doctor Teppy's advice, I just took two.

But also Extremely-Pale Teppy, who burns even when she doesn't mean to (never mind certain husbands who shall remain unnamed who managed to not adequately put sunscreen on my back, leading to one hell of a sunburn). Hooray for ibuprofen, I say!
I just took two.
I hope it helps!
Epic - so glad to hear you were out and about and doing whovian things.
I just had my physical and nothing major is of issue, but blood pressure is up and weight is a new milestone and not the good kind. I’m not beating myself up, but I need to get this under control.
Aw, heck, Hec, you need some slack somewhere. Ibuprofen should work, but I personally don't take as much as I used to because taking it a lot kind of messed with my stomach. Kind of a Monday, here. Kind of thinking of quitting all the Zooms I end up signed up for. If something more compelling would ever happen for me, I swear I would.(even knowing that some of it Might Be Important Someday. Of course they said the same thing about my education and...(Gestures in benefits recipient) that bet didn't exactly pay off big.
That is good to hear, Epic! So glad you are able to do some fun stuff!
For those of you still playing along at home re: work place drama. It’s been a month since we aired department grievances and 3 weeks since Department was told boss was on Admin leave. No resolution, no meeting called with us.
That seems like a long time. Is there a temporary boss?
Much health and work~ma, all.
I'm tired - I think I managed to work for 6 hours today and that was a lot (sat in front of the screen far longer than 6 hours, of course Difficult to concentrate but some work needed to be done). I'm hanging in there (you know how we say we're OK? We're not. But we're hanging in there).
Heads up: Israel showed today to 200 foreign reporters raw documentation from a body camera of one of the first responders to one of the Kibbutzs, CCTVs, and Hamas' GoPro cameras. Block and mute whatever you need to make sure to not cross path with the visuals. The footage was not to be released out of respect to the dead and their families, but it was showed to a room with 200 reporters, so I suspect some visuals will be out at some point. I'd advise, as usual, not to read about it as well. It really is too much. I try not to think about this taking place 3 hours from where I live.
It'll take some time for us to be OK. We will be. But the war's gotta end and the government's gotta go first. And then we can mourn properly and repair. Maybe even heal some wounds. Until then, hanging on.
Shir and Nilly, I am so grateful that you take the time to check in here and update us. I hope that you can feel all the love headed your way. Adapting to the current situation seems impossible, but also required. Every time I poke my head into the news it seems like there is no resolution on the horizon.
Disappeared for a few days to do a family excursion involving tromping around Saken in the rain and seeing the NE aquarium. The short version is that a good time was had by all and we spent WAY too much money.
Back in Otter Lake dealing with Monday. DH is back in Florida, but is flying back up again for the weekend to finish work more on his list. I hope to drive back the following week after I get my ducks in a row.
Timelies all!
Glad to see your pixels, Nilly and Shir.
Gary and Mr. S are out making a Target run, since the boy has no clean pants. (How he goes through clothes so quickly I don’t know)
