Apparently, when I looked in my purse before I left the house to be sure I had my car keys, I walked off with the car keys in my hand and left my purse on the counter. This is mostly a problem because that's where my charging cable and so forth for my watch is, and it's completely out of juice. And no driver's license but chances are that won't come up. I do need to get cat food on the way home but I should be able to pay for that with my phone.
This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

So my plans for Salem this weekend are up in the air. The Airbnb host's mother fell and broke her hip so she had to cancel. We still have to go because DH flies out of Logan on Sunday. Anyway, the powers that be at Airbnb are trying to hook me up elsewhere.
Great nephew's last soccer game of the season tonight. I will bundle up and go cheer.

Dad is out of the hospital! He still has to take a bunch of antibiotics, and he is scheduled for blood tests next week to see if the mystery infections are finally gone and how his hematocrit is doing, but he's at home .
He was telling horrible dad jokes to his medical staff yesterday, which is a good indication that he's feeling better.
